1. Simply present CheckCard to the merchant.
2. Press the "Credit" function on the key pad.
3. Sign the receipt and be on your way.
4. CheckCard automatically deducts the amount of your purchase
from your account.
AND, record-keeping is made easy
with a detailed, end-of-the-month statement of all your transactions.
ALSO, joint accounts can be set
up where both have access to the checking account without the
bother about who has the checkbook.
NOTE: If you press the “Debit” function on the key pad
using a PIN, your account will be charged 25 cents to process
the transaction.
To ensure the privacy and security of your PIN do the following:
- Memorize the PIN and not carry it in a wallet or write it on a card.
- Take precautions to enter the PIN in such a way that it cannot be observed by others.
- Never communicate the PIN verbally.
- Never enter the PIN in any terminal that does not look genuine, has been modified, has a suspicious device attached, or is operating in a suspicious manner.
- Notify the issuer immediately if a PIN mailer appears to have been tampered with or if a PIN change has taken place without being requested by the cardholder.
